Anna Tort Carrera is a PhD candidate at NIDI and the University of Groningen. Her research focuses on the impact of neighbourhood effects and socio-economic status on health over individual life courses. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Girona and a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Sustainability with a major in Ecological Economics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Her research interests are mental health, public health economics, health inequalities, socio-demographic inequalities and environmental injustice.
