Helen Beutler is a PhD researcher at NIDI. Her doctoral research is part of the Queer Pathways to Parenthood project, which examines routes to parenthood among same-sex couples and factors that shape the parenthood trajectories. Before joining NIDI, she obtained a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies, where she analyzed social network data to explore how adolescents’ attitudes towards LGBTQIA+ rights are shaped by their peer networks in secondary schools.
