Zixuan Wang is a Ph.D. researcher at NIDI. In her Ph.D. project, supervised by Prof. Dr. Solveig Argeseanu Cunningham, Dr. Eva Corpeleijn, and Dr. Yuri Pettinicchi, she investigates how climate change relates to disease onset and whether green transitions can improve cardiometabolic health. Before working at NIDI, she completed her Research Master’s degree in Sociology and Social Research at Utrecht University, where she wrote a thesis about how leisure participation relates to health inequality among sexual minority and heterosexual groups.
