The European Social Survey (ESS) is a widely used source for researchers that are interested in the attitudes, beliefs, and behavior patterns of the European population. Every two years, interviews are conducted with newly selected inhabitants in over thirty countries.
NIDI coordinates the data collection of waves 10 and 11 of the ESS in the Netherlands. The team at NIDI is responsible for the quality of the data collection, for building the Dutch user community, and for the dissemination of results to policy-makers and the general public.
