The aim of the Social Sciences & Humanities Open Cloud (SSHOC) project is to combine data infrastructures in the social sciences and humanities into an Open Marketplace. These data infrastructures will be supported by tools and training to allow researchers to access, process, analyze, enrich, and compare data across the boundaries of individual repositories and institutions.
KNAW is one of the 20 partner organizations in the SSHOC project. The SSHOC, in turn, is one of the five cluster projects within the larger European Open Science Cloud initiative proposed in 2016 by the European Commission. More information can be found at: sshopencloud.eu.
