Nursel Alkoç is a postdoctoral researcher in survey methodology at NIDI, where she is responsible for data processing and the preparation of a user guide for the Generations and Gender Programme (GGP). She holds a PhD from the University of Lausanne and a master’s degree in public opinion and survey methodology from the University of Neuchâtel in Switzerland.
Her doctoral research examined unit nonresponse and biased estimates of political behavior in Swiss opinion surveys. During her PhD, she was part of the Political Surveys team at FORS, contributing to national and international political survey projects including the Swiss Election Study (Selects), the Comparative Candidates Survey (CCS), and MEDem (Monitoring Electoral Democracy).
