A. (Aisling) Connolly M.Sc.

Junior researcher

My name is Aisling Connolly and I am a junior researcher at the Generations and Gender Programme (GGP) at NIDI. My key responsibilities include processing the newly collected data from the Generations and Gender Survey, engaging in dissemination and impact awareness of the GGP as well as gathering and resolving user feedback and queries. I earned my Master’s degree in Sociology and Social Research from Utrecht University. My Master’s thesis focused on exploring the ethnic differences among young people in their exposure to ethnic diversity across spatial contexts using geo-location data. Prior to my role in the GGP, I interned at the Nederlands Studiecentrum Criminaliteit en Rechtshandhaving (NSCR) in Amsterdam where I gathered and processed data on the spatial-temporal patterning of  risky facilities for crime in Amsterdam.
