Frank van Tubergen is theme leader Migration and Migrants at NIDI and a professor of Migration and Intergroup Relations at Utrecht University. Van Tubergen conducts research on the integration of immigrants and their children, focusing on demography, religion, language, and inequality. He co-coordinated the Children of Immigrants Longitudinal Study in Four European Countries (CILS4EU). He received a Veni (2005) and Vidi (2009) grant from the National Science Foundation (NWO), and was awarded the Ammodo KNAW grant (2015). His work has appeared in top journals including American Sociological Review, American Journal of Sociology, European Sociological Review and Demography. He is a fellow of the European Academy of Sociology.
