My name is Julia and I am a junior researcher at NIDI. I am originally from Austria and moved to the Netherlands for my master studies. I recently finished a research master in sociology of culture, media, and the arts at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. My thesis focused on assessing the (cognitive) impact of gender equity attitudes on evaluations of characteristics associated with physical appearance, and how this is moderated by gender. I am currently working as a junior researcher as part of the Generations and Gender Programms (GGP) where I am mainly involved in the fieldwork including assisting with survey setup and monitoring data collection, as well as the day-to-day activities of the GGP. I am also involved in data dissemination and impact activities of the GGP.
