Julia is a PhD researcher at NIDI. Her project is part of the ‘Meer Uren Werkt!’ project led jointly by the University of Utrecht and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. Within the project she is working on exploring cross-national comparisons of part-time employment with a particular focus on (gender) inequality. Before starting her PhD, she worked as a junior researcher in the Generations and Gender Programme fieldwork team. Julia has a research master in sociology of culture, media, and the arts from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Her research interests include gender inequality and social stratification with a particular focus on the labour market and employment.
