Understanding migration flows and their key drivers are essential for developing migration policy. In the QuantMig project, we support European migration policies by producing comprehensive quantitative migration scenarios. The scenarios are based on a set of harmonized data on migration and its drivers in origin, destination, and transit countries. Innovative methods are developed to create interactive simulation models and describe scenario uncertainty. Stakeholders from the policy world are involved throughout the project.
