Alex Mascarino is a PhD researcher at NIDI. His doctoral research is part of the QPATHS project, which explores the trajectories, barriers and resources experienced by same-sex couples that want to become parents. Before joining NIDI, he completed a Research Master’s degree in Development and Socialization in Childhood and Adolescence at Utrecht University, where he used a mixed-methods approach to investigate in-the-moment coping responses of victimized LGBTQ+ youth.
